TERMS OF USE

Version 2026-10-09. Bracketed fields are placeholders the operator must fill in before launch.

Effective Date: October 8th 2026

Website: GFYFR

1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of GFYFR.com (“Service”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old to create or upload a cover. By creating a cover, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal authority to agree to these Terms.

The Service is an entertainment and link-sharing experience. It allows users to create, discover and reuse public cover pages that display customized preview images, titles and optional descriptions before presenting the Service’s intended reveal experience.

2. How the Service Works

The Service provides a shared library of public cover pages. Each cover has a URL containing a customizable slug and may include a preview image, title and description.

Users may create new covers or select existing covers through the “Use Someone Else’s” feature.

All published covers are public and reusable. Any user may access, copy, share and reuse an available cover URL without obtaining separate permission from its original creator.

Selecting an existing cover does not create a new cover, transfer ownership or authorize the selecting user to modify the original cover.

The Service does not promise that any cover, URL, image, title or description will remain available forever. Covers are intended to remain available indefinitely, but the Service may modify, restrict, disable or remove content as permitted by these Terms or applicable law.

3. Public Content and No Exclusivity

When you create a cover, you understand and agree that:

  • Your cover may be viewed, indexed, copied and shared by the public.
  • Its slug, image, title and description are not private.
  • Other users may reuse its exact URL as many times as they wish.
  • You do not receive exclusive rights to the slug or URL merely by creating the cover.
  • You cannot prevent ordinary reuse of an active public cover through the Service.
  • The Service may display your cover in its public library and use its metadata to generate link previews.
  • Public content may be retained, cached or reproduced by third-party services, including search engines and social platforms, even after the Service removes it.

Do not submit anything you expect to remain confidential or that you do not have the right to make publicly available.

4. Your Content and Responsibility

You are responsible for all content you submit, upload or create through the Service, including images, titles, descriptions and slugs (“User Content”).

You represent and warrant that:

  • You own your User Content or have obtained all permissions and licenses necessary to submit and use it as contemplated by the Service.
  • Your User Content does not unlawfully infringe another person’s copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other rights.
  • Your User Content does not violate applicable law or these Terms.
  • You will not knowingly use the Service to impersonate someone unlawfully, defraud another person or facilitate unlawful conduct.
  • Any claims or descriptions you submit are your responsibility.

The Service does not guarantee that user-submitted information is accurate, authentic, authorized or appropriate.

5. License You Grant to the Service

You retain whatever ownership rights you hold in your User Content.

By submitting User Content, you grant the Service a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free license, for the duration of the applicable rights, to host, store, reproduce, format, modify as technically necessary, display, distribute and make that content available to operate, maintain, promote and provide the Service.

This license includes permission to:

  • Display your cover in the public cover library.
  • Generate and serve link-preview metadata.
  • Allow other users to access and share your cover URL.
  • Make technically necessary copies, thumbnails and image formats.
  • Use service providers to store, process and deliver your content.

The license is not an exclusive transfer of ownership. The Service does not claim ownership of your original photographs, artwork or other content simply because you upload it.

Because covers are designed for public reuse, you authorize the Service to make your published cover available for repeated public sharing through its intended functionality. This does not give other users permission to extract, commercially exploit or use your underlying copyrighted material outside the Service where they otherwise lack permission.

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to:

  • Upload content you do not have the right to use.
  • Infringe copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, publicity rights or other legal rights.
  • Create fraudulent previews intended to obtain passwords, payment details, authentication codes or other sensitive information.
  • Distribute malware, malicious files or harmful code.
  • Threaten, stalk, harass or unlawfully target another person.
  • Publish unlawful threats, unlawful intimate imagery or content that violates applicable law.
  • Impersonate another person or organization in a way that violates law or facilitates fraud.
  • Circumvent technical restrictions, rate limits or security controls.
  • Attack, disrupt or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Upload content intended to exploit, abuse or compromise the Service.
  • Use the Service in violation of applicable laws or regulations.

The Service may establish additional reasonable content and technical restrictions to protect users, third parties and its operations.

7. Content Moderation and Removal

The Service reserves the right, but not the obligation, to review, restrict, disable, remove or refuse any cover or User Content at its discretion, subject to applicable law.

Reasons may include suspected infringement, unlawful content, abuse, security risks, misleading or harmful conduct, operational requirements or violation of these Terms.

The Service may suspend or terminate access to features or the entire Service when reasonably necessary to address violations, protect the Service or comply with legal obligations.

A cover being publicly reusable does not prevent the Service from removing or disabling it. No user is guaranteed permanent access to a particular cover or slug.

Where appropriate, the Service may provide a process for reporting content or requesting review of a moderation decision.

8. Copyright and Intellectual Property Complaints

If you believe that content on the Service infringes your copyright or other rights, contact:

Contact: admin@gfyfr.com

Include sufficient information to identify the allegedly infringing material, explain your rights and provide the basis for your complaint. Copyright notices should include the information required by applicable law.

The Service may remove or disable material in response to a complaint and may seek additional information before acting.

Nothing in this section guarantees a particular response time or outcome. If the Service qualifies for and seeks protection under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act, it should separately establish and maintain the required compliant notice-and-takedown procedures and, where applicable, register and publish the designated agent’s information.

Knowingly submitting materially false infringement claims may expose the complainant to legal consequences.

9. Third-Party Platforms and Link Previews

The Service may generate metadata for social media previews and other link-sharing platforms. Third-party platforms control how they display, cache, process or update that information.

The Service does not control third-party platform availability, preview accuracy, caching behavior, moderation decisions or sharing functionality.

A preview may continue to appear in a third-party cache after the associated cover has changed or been removed. The Service does not guarantee that every platform will display the same preview.

Users are responsible for considering the context in which they share a cover and for complying with the rules of the platforms they use.

10. No Guarantee of Availability

The Service is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, permanent storage, continued availability of any feature or compatibility with every device or platform.

We may update, suspend, discontinue or restrict any part of the Service, subject to applicable law.

Although public covers are intended to be reusable indefinitely, technical failures, legal requirements, security incidents, moderation decisions or other circumstances may affect their availability.

Users should not rely on the Service as the sole storage location for material they need to preserve.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and noninfringement, as well as warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.

We do not warrant that User Content is accurate, lawful, authorized, reliable or suitable for any particular purpose.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, [Legal Name of Operator] and its owners, officers, employees, contractors and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunities arising from or related to your use of the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the aggregate liability of [Legal Name of Operator] for claims arising from or related to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid directly to the Service, if any, during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim or (b) US$50.

These limitations apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law. They do not exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Some jurisdictions do not permit certain liability limitations. In those jurisdictions, the limitations apply only to the extent legally permitted.

13. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless GFYFR.com, its operators, owners, officers, employees and contractors from third-party claims, liabilities, damages, losses and reasonable legal expenses arising from your User Content, your misuse of the Service or your material violation of these Terms.

We will provide notice of a claim when reasonably practicable. We will not settle a claim in a manner that imposes a non-monetary obligation on you without your consent, which will not be unreasonably withheld.

14. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also subject to the Service’s Privacy Policy, if applicable.

Do not submit personal, confidential or sensitive information in a cover unless you have a lawful basis and intend that information to be publicly available.

Because cover metadata and URLs are public, information submitted as part of a cover may be viewed, copied, indexed or shared by other people and third-party platforms.

The Service’s actual collection, use, retention and disclosure of personal information will be described in its Privacy Policy and must comply with applicable law. Nothing in these Terms substitutes for that policy or authorizes data practices that the Service does not actually perform.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a revised effective date.

Where required by law, we will provide notice or obtain renewed consent before changes take effect.

Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

16. Termination and Survival

You may stop using the Service at any time.

We may restrict or terminate your access when permitted by these Terms or applicable law.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including applicable provisions concerning licenses already granted, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, disputes and interpretation.

Termination does not guarantee that copies of previously public content will disappear from third-party caches or from copies already made by other users.

17. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Arizona in the United States of America, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Any dispute will be handled in the courts with appropriate jurisdiction in Maricopa County, Arizona unless applicable law provides otherwise.

Nothing in this section limits rights or remedies that applicable law does not permit the parties to waive.

18. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent legally permitted.

These Terms, together with any policies expressly incorporated into them, form the agreement between you and the Service concerning its use and supersede prior agreements on that subject.

Our failure to enforce a provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.

19. Contact

Questions, legal notices and reports concerning these Terms may be sent to:

20. Customized Previews, Links, and Redirects

The Website allows Users to create customized link previews for entertainment, humor, and personal sharing. A Preview may contain a customized title, image, description, or other presentation selected by the User.

When a Recipient opens a Link, the Website may display an intermediate page, perform a redirect, or load another page as part of the Website’s intended functionality. These processes may be necessary to deliver the customized experience associated with the Link.

The Website’s customized Previews and Links are features of its entertainment service. Their use does not, by itself, establish unlawful conduct or create liability on the part of the Website Operator.

Users independently decide whether, when, and with whom to share a Link. The Website Operator does not select the Recipient, determine the circumstances in which a Link is shared, or control how a Recipient interprets or reacts to the Preview.

The Website Operator is not responsible for a User’s independent sharing decisions or for interpretations, reactions, or consequences that the Website Operator does not direct or control, except to the extent responsibility is imposed by Applicable Law.

The Website Operator may rely on third-party hosting providers, software, and infrastructure to deliver Links, Previews, and redirects. The limitations and disclaimers concerning third-party interference and security incidents also apply to these functions.

Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or authorizes conduct prohibited by Applicable Law.
